A bit about us:
We're a growing commercial construction company in the Atlanta area that delivers multiple core trades under one integrated team. Commercial developers come to us because they want one accountable partner instead of a dozen subcontractors. Our culture is built on discipline, accountability and pride in craftsmanship, and we're growing quickly.
Why join us?
More control over your projects: in-house trades mean fewer finger-pointing problems and better command of schedule and quality
Growth opportunity: a growing company where senior leaders help shape processes, teams and the future of the business
Developer relationships: repeat work with commercial developer clients, not one-off hard bids
Leadership-driven culture: disciplined, team-first and focused on doing things right
Competitive pay: strong base salary, performance bonus and benefits
Local work: projects concentrated in metro Atlanta, with limited overnight travel
Job Details
Description:
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects for developer clients from preconstruction through closeout. Our model is different from a typical GC. Most core trades are delivered under one roof, so you'll have more control over schedule, quality and cost than you'd get managing a long list of outside subcontractors.
You'll own a portfolio of commercial projects and be the main point of contact for owners and developers. Day to day, you'll run budgets, schedules, procurement and field coordination, and you'll lead project managers, APMs and superintendents on your jobs.
What you'll do:
Lead commercial projects from preconstruction and budgeting through construction and closeout
Act as the primary point of contact for developer and owner clients, building long-term, repeat relationships
Coordinate in-house trades (framing, drywall, concrete, MEP, roofing, finishes, etc.) along with any outside partners
Build and manage master schedules and keep every trade sequenced and moving
Own project financials: buyout, cost forecasting, change orders, pay applications and monthly job cost reporting
Manage RFIs, submittals, permits and inspections
Mentor project managers, APMs and field leaders
Support a strong safety culture and high quality standards on every jobsite
Work with leadership on estimating, preconstruction and growth
What you bring:
8+ years of commercial construction project management experience, including recent work at the Senior PM level
A track record of delivering commercial projects with a or a self-performing specialty contractor
Strong financial skills: budgets, forecasting, change management and margin protection
Experience working directly with commercial developers or owners
Comfort with Procore, MS Project or P6, and standard construction software
A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
OSHA 30 and/or PMP a plus
