- Perform system testing, diagnostics, validation, and performance verification prior to customer handoff.
- Configure and integrate AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, or AMX.
- Work with network engineers to integrate IP-based AV systems into customer network environments.
- Support AV-over-IP technologies such as Dante, NDI, and SDVoE.
- Read and interpret AV system drawings, installation diagrams, construction drawings, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Review AV designs and identify installation conflicts, integration issues, and coordination gaps.
- Provide technical recommendations and field-based solutions when issues arise during installation or commissioning.
- Perform acoustic testing and calibration, including DSP, equalizers, speaker arrays, and microphones.
- Support testing and adjustment of AV lighting systems where applicable, including DALI/DMX-based systems.
- Maintain accurate equipment inventories and installation documentation.
- Complete commissioning reports, punch lists, as-built documentation, and customer handoff materials.
- Provide onsite customer training and explain AV system operation to technical and non-technical users.
- Resolve installation and commissioning issues and ensure systems are fully operational before project closeout.
- Follow applicable safety requirements, building standards, and industry best practices.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the United States as required.
