Job Summary
The Product Systems Engineer supports the assembly, integration, testing, and production of advanced electro-mechanical sensor systems, including camera and gimbal assemblies. This role partners with engineering, manufacturing, and contract manufacturers to deliver high-quality products, support production builds, troubleshoot issues, and implement design and process improvements. Recent engineering graduates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assemble, integrate, program, and test electro-mechanical systems and assemblies.
Perform system checkout, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair activities.
Support optical assembly, alignment, focusing, and flight testing.
Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical data packages.
Coordinate design changes and serve as a liaison between engineering, production, and contract manufacturers.
Support design-for-manufacturing efforts and transition designs into production.
Assist with production planning, material readiness, and manufacturing support.
Document test results and support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Help ensure delivery of defect-free products and on-time customer orders.

Years of Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related engineering field required.
Prior assembly, manufacturing, production, or electromechanical experience preferred.
Open to entry level candidates with strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.
Experience with PTC Creo preferred (1+ year ideal).
Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within three months of employment.
