Develop signal processing algorithms and software/firmware for the next generation of software defined radios supporting DoD missions.
Description:
Responsibilities include modeling of DSP algorithms in MATLAB, implementation of algorithms on ARM processors using C/C++ and/or FPGAs in VHDL, and integration/testing of algorithms with higher layer software including field testing. Some embedded software development in C may also be required.
Knowledge of communications theory, radar, and wireless/radio protocols, including beamforming and MIMO, navigation and timing, radar processing (including pulse generation and pulse descriptor word processing), direction finding, and/or T/FDOA geolocation desired.
Advanced coursework and Master's degree preferred.
