Your Specific Responsibilities:This position provides operational and system support for the information technology systems requirements within the office.
Ensures Inspection Team members have pertinent information on alerted data sets to ensure follow up and reviews data sets and provides audit information to necessary DOH staff.
Assist with the design, planning, implementation, and change management of the Medical Use Registry, Seed-to-Sale data system, and licensure compliance information system as assigned.
Participate in status meetings for internal and external stakeholders, including management, subject matter experts, vendors, and end users.
Responsible for documenting and notifying external/internal stakeholders of any bugs that are found and track to resolution.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for office data systems, and licensure compliance information system, as assigned.
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs and system functionality to deliver analytical reports, requirement documents, and UAT Scripts, as needed.
Provide end-user technical assistance, as needed, to support efficient operation of the information technology systems.
Develop and implement guidelines, tools, and training for conducting technical support. Coordinate discrepancies with external stakeholders.
Ensure that the data for the information technology is secure and protected in coordination with DOH policies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; communicating effectively with others in writing; talking to others to effectively convey information; understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government rules & regulations; knowledge of basic quality assurance principles and practices; knowledge of API technology and Postman; knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis; knowledge of computer data bases; knowledge and use of the compliance management system and licensing system used by the Agency; ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data through various data query languages and software (i.e. SQL, QLIK, Crystal Reporting); ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials; ability to conduct fact finding research; ability to utilize problem-solving techniques; ability to work independently; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; AND
- 2 years of professional experience in creating requirement documents; creating and conducting UAT scripts via API for an online system; implementing customization and/or updates to information technology systems; providing end-user technical assistance; inputting and maintaining information in an online licensing system; monitoring the security of data in information technology systems; documenting workflow; systems analysis; program research and evaluation.
