Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced architectural leadership for assigned business area with focus on AI-native solutions.
- Translate business/product requirements into implementable technical specifications.
- Design and drive architecture across applications, services, APIs, data flows, and platform components.
- Incorporate AI-enabled features and establish guardrails for safe, effective AI use.
- Advance AI-assisted engineering practices (e.g., copilot, code generation, AI workflows).
- Establish and enforce technical standards, patterns, and design guardrails.
- Guide teams through architectural decisions and design trade-offs (cost, scalability, security, etc.).
- Oversee implementation, proactively identify/resolve risks and architectural issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, security, data, platform).
- Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve architecture and engineering practices.
- Mentor developers and architects, strengthening technical judgment and adoption of modern practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare domain requirements and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years’ experience in software/application architecture and design.
- Strong hands-on background with Java, Golang, Spring, or similar technologies.
- Deep experience with microservices, cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms.
- Significant experience in API design, service decomposition, integration, and workflow applications.
- Track record in AI-assisted development and applying AI to engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, observability.
- Proven technical leadership, team guidance, and mentorship experience.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely with a secure, dedicated office setup and high-speed internet.
- Must be able to remain stationary for prolonged periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to take initiative and lead without authority when needed.
- Comfortable working in a complex, regulated healthcare environment.
