Responsibilities:
JOBSUMMARY
The ServiceTech 3 ? HVAC performs maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This positionis responsible fortroubleshooting complex HVAC issues, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring systems are running efficiently. Must have extensive restaurant and low and medium-temp experience. As well as experience in walk-in units, make lines, ice machines, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC units at our customers? sites.
- Change compressors, fans and reclaim refrigerant.?
- Must have extensive restaurant and low and medium-temp experience.
- Maintain legible records of work history.
- Ability to report to workin a timely manneras scheduled by supervisor.
- Have experience working with commercial rooftop and air package units as well as rack air condition units.?

- Performsother duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education / Training
- AA degree from an accredited vocational technical or junior college
- EPA certificationrequired
- Minimum 3-5 years? experience in construction HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related industry
- Must have chiller experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical control systems isrequired
Work Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of refrigeration equipment and piping of refrigeration equipment.
- Knowledge ofcomputer-controlledsystems.
- Experience in walk-in units, make lines, ice machines, etc.
- Experience inextensive restaurant and low and medium-temp experience.
- Ability to read and understand refrigeration, electrical and plumbing blueprints.
- Ability to pump down all refrigerationsystems andreclaim refrigerant from all types of systems.
- Good communicationand presentation skills and excellent customer service.
- Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
- Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.

Work Environment:
This job typically operates in convenience stores, grocery stores, food service and/or construction environment with need to work at heights from ladders and/or Scissor lifts.?Mechanical rooms can have elevated noise levels.?The position regularly works near/with refrigeration/HVAC equipment that can expose the workers to extreme cold from refrigerant and high heat from brazing operations.?This role routinely works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.?These conditions require employees to use the correct PPE and safe work practices.
Physical Demands:
This position is very active and requires excellent stamina to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Employees are regularly required to walk and stand for long periods, hear, drive, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, use hands and fingers, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
