A media and entertainment company is seeking a Staff Cloud Engineer in Tempe, Arizona. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform to support secure, scalable, and resilient technical environments.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools
- Support cloud security, access controls, monitoring, and compliance practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to develop resilient, cost-effective cloud solutions and technical standards
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of AWS and Google Cloud Platform, including security, networking, IAM, authentication, account management, and application services
- Hands-on experience with at least two programming languages and Infrastructure as Code, including Python and Terraform
- Experience with cloud architecture, hybrid networking, deployment pipelines, and self-service enablement
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and technical stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- BS degree or equivalent
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps, SysAdmin, Networking, or Security certifications
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Azure
- Experience in media and entertainment environments
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, and cloud cost optimization practices
