Role Overview
We are seeking a Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between operations and technology. In this role, you will deliver software solutions, maintain existing applications, and support enterprise data platforms. This position involves a blend of software development, system support, and business partner engagement, functioning as a systems analyst who can code rather than a traditional application support resource.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application software development services and technical support for operational data platforms, including the enterprise historian platform (OSIsoft PI) and SCADA-related systems.
- Develop program logic for new applications and analyze or modify logic in existing applications.
- Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to provide software solutions for implementation.
- Engage with business partners to understand operational needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Support downstream systems including SCADA, PI, and other operational data platforms.
- Manage operational field data, bringing it into enterprise OT systems.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of twelve (12) years of IT experience; OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with a minimum of five (5) years of IT experience.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Python, C#, and SQL databases.
- Demonstrated programming experience in operational environments.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OSIsoft PI or similar SCADA systems.
- Background in Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E), controls, or automation.
- Operational knowledge within the Oil & Gas industry, including an understanding of pipeline and field environments.
- Experience building automation projects or AI solutions that solve business problems.
- A team-first mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.
