Position: Control Design Engineer
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Control Design Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning customer needs into practical, buildable electrical panel solutions. You'll work on a variety of projects across industries like water treatment, oil and gas, data centers, and utilities, helping design and support custom control panels from concept through commissioning. This role is open due to company growth, creating a chance to step into a stable, expanding environment with meaningful project variety.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: - Design electrical control panel circuitry based on customer requirements
- Create 2D wiring schematics and bill of materials
- Support costing and manufacturing estimates for panel builds
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, engineering, and production teams
- Clarify technical requirements with customers as needed
- Support commissioning and customer communication when needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Follow electrical code requirements and design standards
Required Qualifications & Experience: - 3+ years of panel design experience
- Experience with electrical panel wiring and schematic design
- Ability to read customer specifications and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring principles
- Experience creating wiring diagrams and documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external teams
- Knowledge of NEC code
- Electric Technician degree with experience, or BS in Engineering
Nice to Have Skills & Experience: - PLC programming experience
- Embedded systems programming experience
- UL508A, UL698A, or UL1203 knowledge
- Experience with electric motor control circuits
- VFD programming experience
- SolidWorks experience
- Experience working with manufacturing environments
