About Us\\n
We are a mission-driven media organization dedicated to creating and sharing authentic, faith-centered content that reaches millions of people. Our work centers on large-scale public campaigns designed to spark meaningful reflection and connection. This is a faith-based organization, and candidates must be comfortable working within, and aligned with, that mission.

\\n
Position Summary\\n
This is a hands-on, full-stack role with real depth on the frontend. Our client\'s stack centers on Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui, running on AWS, Vercel, and Cloudflare. You\'ll be joining a lean, high-trust engineering team where your decisions carry real weight, not just implementation, but the direction itself.
\\n
\\n
Essential Duties and Responsibilities\\n
\\n - Drive build-vs-buy and major architecture/migration decisions, and be able to speak to the tradeoffs, not just the execution.
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Own technical documentation as a real deliverable, design docs, runbooks, and architecture decision records, not an afterthought.
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Lead on disaster recovery and incident response, including writing and executing DR plans.
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Bring security thinking beyond a checklist: threat modeling, access control design, and leading security reviews.
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Solve real scalability problems, whether that\'s traffic spikes, data growth, or architecture that needs to evolve under real-world pressure.
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Be the person the team turns to for technical direction, while staying genuinely hands-on in the codebase.
\\n
\\n
\\n
Education and Experience\\n
\\n - BSCS or equivalent technical degree preferred
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - 7-10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including meaningful experience operating at the Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Architect, or equivalent level
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Deep, production experience with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and a modern cloud stack (AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare, or similar)
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - A track record of driving specific technical decisions, not just participating in them, regardless of your current title
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Strong instincts around documentation, security, and operational resilience
\\n
\\n
\\n
\\n - Comfortable operating at a senior/staff level of scope even if your title hasn\'t caught up yet.
\\n
\\n
\\n
Benefits\\n
\\n - Competitive base salary
\\n - Annual performance bonus (based on organizational performance)
\\n - 80% employer-paid health and wellness coverage
\\n - 403(b) retirement plan with 7% employer match
\\n - Very generous PTO
\\n - Much more!
