, is seeking an IOD SharePoint Application Lead with a Top-Secret security clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC.

This role involves recommending software upgrades for current and future systems, translating User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and documenting every aspect of the application, service, or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades at the FBI. Responsibilities:- Provide project and product oversight while managing application development schedules based on client priorities.
- Define and recommend application architecture improvements
- Design, test, and develop well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient.
- Utilize best software development practices to meet user needs.
- Recommend software upgrades for current and future systems.
- Translate User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes into functional web applications.
- Ensure software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.
- Document every aspect of the application, service, or environment for future reference and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain the performance and security of web applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the application remains current and competitive.
Here's what you'll need:
- 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
- Proven experience in web application development.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating design wireframes into functional applications.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Ability to recommend and implement software upgrades.
- Experience in software maintenance and testing to ensure continued functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity or experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
- Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and libraries.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of database management and integration.
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Ability to document processes and code for future maintenance and upgrades.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- 8+ years of experience.
Clearance Requirement:- Top-Secret security clearance
