Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 annually

Position Overview
SNI Technology is assisting a professional services organization with the search for a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology assistance to employees in a busy office environment.
This position will serve as a front-line resource for desktop and end-user technology needs while also supporting office technology initiatives, equipment deployments, moves, and other IT projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with users, troubleshooting a variety of technical issues, and balancing day-to-day support with project-related responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-person technical assistance for hardware, software, workstation, and general desktop-related issues.
- Monitor incoming support requests and help ensure incidents are addressed within established service expectations, escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation preparation, equipment deployment, and account-related technology needs.
- Assist with conference room technology, audio/video equipment, presentations, and meeting-related technical support.
- Troubleshoot and maintain desktop applications, drivers, imaging, and other endpoint technologies.
- Provide basic technical assistance for mobile devices and coordinate with specialized IT teams when additional support is required.
- Participate in technology testing and pre-deployment activities, documenting findings and helping identify potential issues before changes are introduced.
- Follow established IT policies, procedures, security practices, and technology standards.
- Assist with office technology projects, equipment moves, installations, and other operational initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other IT team members and regional support resources.
- Provide hands-on assistance with office infrastructure when needed, including basic cabling and serving as an on-site technical resource for remote IT teams.
- Take on additional technical assignments and projects based on business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of professional IT support or desktop support experience.
- Experience supporting users in a corporate, professional services, legal, financial, or similarly structured environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust priorities as business needs change.
- Demonstrated discretion when working with confidential or sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently while operating within established procedures and escalation processes.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule when business or project requirements dictate.
- Experience supporting macOS is a plus.
