What would you do?
Job Description:
Position: Cloud operation Lead with Devops
Location: Washington DC (onsite)
Fulltime
Required Technical Skills
- Design and implement scalable AWS architectures using EC2, VPC, ALB, Route 53, S3, RDS, and IAM
- Strong experience with Terraformand cloud automation
- Expertise in containerization and Kubernetes
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, disaster recovery, and high-availability design, Security first approach
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch and Datadog
Leadership Requirements
- Lead a global/offshore CloudOps and DevOps team
- Provide technical direction and architectural governance
- Drive cloud modernization and automation initiatives
- Act as the escalation point for critical production issues
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Candidates should possess at least 2 of the following AWS/Cloud certifications. Certifications obtained 3-4+ years ago (including expired certifications) are acceptable and often preferred, as they demonstrate sustained experience working in cloud environments over an extended period. Certification course completion alone is not sufficient
