ETL Data Engineer - Washington, DC. 100% Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into Azure platforms.
• Develop solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Informatica, and Python.
• Establish and manage cloud and on-premises data connectivity.
• Automate, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
• Support data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, security, and reliability.
• Develop SQL-based reports, queries, and data transformation processes.
• Standardize and optimize existing workflows following industry best practices.

Experience Required

• Strong hands-on experience building enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience working with Azure cloud data platforms and large-scale data integration projects
• Experience with workflow automation, monitoring, and performance optimization

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Informatica Certification (preferred)
