Summary

· The field test technician are on the experimental side of engines and electrification.

· Test machines, test engines, test electrification, BMS, batteries, everything out.

· Need to be able to go out and help diagnose it, fix it, update it if needed.

· Similar to full engine diagnostic & electrical diagnostics, potentially drive change dynamics.

· More of engine and a lot of electrical work will be included.

· Degree is not required, if they have relevant experience.

· All machines & engines are diesel that are electronic control, they have an engine controller.

· There's a lot of codes, DTC's, and ultimately, there is a lot of wiring issues.

· So electrical background is needed to have to take this code and be able to know load & continuity checks.

· On alternative grounds be able to depend on the harness without having to train.

· Rewiring and things of that nature by themselves, if you have to fix a problem.

· Not necessarily reworking the whole harness or making a whole harness, it's just repairing it.

· High voltage electrification, that's down the road and that that's something that can be trained. Knowledge of the basic electricity & electrification.
