Your ResponsibilitiesAs a
PDP Engineer for
John Deere Engine Works located in
Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Lead and support assembly departments in implementing new engine programs.
- Develop manufacturing processes, line designs, capital projects, and program management activities.
- Establish Sequence of Events (SOE), manufacturing methods, layouts, and tooling.
- Lead capital investment projects for assembly.
- Implement mistake-proofing in assembly processes.
- Support EPDP activities.
- Participate in DPAR reviews and PFMEA activities.
- Support change management within Engine Works Assembly.
- Create and maintain SAP routings and bills of material.
- Work with operations teams to resolve process issues.
- Create visual aids.
- Specify and purchase assembly equipment such as torque tools, fixtures, manipulators, and hand tools.
- Maintain and interact with factory automation systems.

- 2+ years of DC electric torque tool experience.
- 2+ years of SAP experience.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Execution Systems experience.
- 2+ years using quality tools such as PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.
