Senior Integration Developer – IBM API Connect Lead

Summary

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, API development, and middleware technologies.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and managing solutions using IBM API Connect (APIC).
Practical experience working with AWS and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical integration solutions.
Strong expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
In-depth knowledge of API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and TLS.
Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, XSLT, and industry-standard API design principles.
Hands-on experience configuring and administering IBM DataPower Gateway.
Experience deploying, managing, and supporting APIs in cloud-native and containerized environments.
Proven leadership experience in driving technical initiatives, mentoring development teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IBM integration technologies, including IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), and Red Hat OpenShift.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automated deployment practices for API and integration solutions.
Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience delivering integration solutions within large-scale, enterprise-level environments.
