Team OverviewArgus Advisory is a TransUnion Company and the leading provider of analytics, information and solutions to financial services providers to help them grow their businesses. We help clients maximize the value of data and analytics to allocate and align resources to strategic objectives, manage and mitigate risk (default, fraud, funding and compliance), and optimize financial objectives. This role will act as a intern of the Argus team and will partner and collaborate with other associates to support relationships with key clients.
Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 10-week internship beginning on June 14, 2027.
Role Overview and Core ResponsibilitiesThis internship will include training in the financial service industry, technical skills like AWS, and utilizing desktop research for consultative services. Candidates must have a passion for financial services and will utilize AWS technical skills to complete their internship. No prior technical skills required; on-job training included.
- Must be graduating by May/June 2028 or earlier and seeking a BS or advanced degree in statistics, industrial engineering, mathematics, economics, computer science, finance, or related field
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Familiarity with SQL, AWS and/or SAS or other data mining or statistical software
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative skills
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills
- This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week
Required Knowledge and ExperiencesThis role will act as a key Analyst of the Argus North America team and is responsible for supporting the development of outputs using the Argus Consortia dataset. This role will partner and collaborate with other associates in the Argus US team to support the relationships with key clients.
- Leverage extensive datasets and various statistical software applications to develop and execute strategic quantitative analysis
- Investigate and report on complex data interactions to help identify and address our clients' key strategic business opportunities
- Create statistical data models to be used as tools in the development of client portfolio strategies
- Analyze and interpret results of reports and models created to translate data into and create comprehensive, actionable solutions for our clients
- Effectively and accurately communicate analytical results and strategic implications within the context of a broader business setting
The pay range for this role is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. *The pay range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but limited to) an individual's education and experience.
