Call Outs:

The manager is open to candidates based in PA or KY. Candidates located in KY will report to the Eastpoint Office, while candidates located in PA will report to the West Hamilton St. Office. The reporting location will be determined based on the candidate's residence.
This is a hybrid role. Office days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Duration: 6 months

The Treasury Operations department is seeking an organized and self-motivated professional to perform basic accounting functions. This position is responsible for managing cash and banking control activities and providing related administrative support within the department. The candidate should understand effective control models, particularly those related to safeguarding cash while operating under the framework of SOX 404 requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, problem-solving and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform controls around vendor/customer banking information by conducting callbacks and validating change requests.
Complete daily interface controls to ensure all systems function as expected.
Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly cash controls to ensure accurate transaction recording and fraud prevention.
Perform daily matching of book records to bank transactions using Treasury reconciliation software.
Research and resolve issues or exceptions from daily matching.
Prepare and analyze monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with management and regulatory reporting requirements.
Support the unclaimed property process, including preparing reports, initiating payment requests, and responding to customer inquiries.
Ensure compliance with company policies and protect organizational values by maintaining confidentiality.
Provide support to internal users on Treasury processes.
Offer various types of administrative accounting support.
Interface with internal and external auditors regarding the company's cash controls.
Assist on special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Deliver customer service to both internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
Handle and safeguard cash records and confidential information.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
