Job DetailsRESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, manage, and develop the plant maintenance team
- Own maintenance and reliability activities for manufacturing equipment and the facility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify wear, failures, and performance concerns
- Coordinate repairs, equipment upgrades, retrofits, and reliability improvements
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities around production requirements
- Minimize equipment downtime while maximizing safety, quality, and production efficiency
- Ensure plant and facility activities remain compliant with applicable regulations
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget
- Partner with procurement to maintain critical spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements
- Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance histories, and equipment performance records
- Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout maintenance and plant operations
- Serve as a technical resource and advisor to plant leadership
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience managing maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience supporting molding or similar complex production equipment
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs
- Experience leading equipment repairs, upgrades, and reliability initiatives
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing maintenance schedules around production requirements
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong understanding of equipment reliability and downtime reduction
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
NICE TO HAVES
- Direct experience supporting plastic molding equipment and processes
- Experience leading maintenance within a high volume molding operation
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital recommendations
- Familiarity with spare parts inventory strategy and procurement
- Experience analyzing equipment performance metrics and failure trends
- Experience implementing maintenance improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
