About the Role
AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Retail & E-Commerce (2-3 Years Experience) to support security operations, protect retail applications, e-commerce platforms, payment systems, and customer data. This role focuses on monitoring cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with retail security standards. You will collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and compliance teams to maintain a secure and resilient digital commerce environment. Ideal for early-career cyber security professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and investigate cyber security incidents
Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
Analyze security logs using SIEM tools to detect threats and suspicious activities
Protect e-commerce applications, payment gateways, customer accounts, and sensitive data
Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and best practices
Support incident response, threat detection, and risk mitigation activities
Conduct security audits and assist with PCI DSS compliance initiatives
Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, development, and security teams
Maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related role
Basic understanding of network security, web application security, and cyber security principles
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Protection, and Vulnerability Management
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Understanding of common cyber threats, phishing, malware, vulnerability management, and incident response
Exposure to AWS or cloud security concepts
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
