Job DescriptionWhat this Department does:The IT Infrastructure department:
- Provides support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems.
- Responds to telephones, email and online requests.
- Documents, tracks and monitors problems using applicable system and tools.
- Serves as first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance.
- May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
ResponsibilitiesWhat will you do:You will be part of a Team working together to accomplish daily tasks. We strive to have our interns take on the same responsibilities as our regular staff do. You will quickly learn the current process, use published documentation, and work on customer support tickets to resolve end-user issues/requests.
You can expect:- Responsibilities include supporting all production and development systems, troubleshooting, and resolution of desktop computers, applications, and related technology.
- Generates tickets from inbound calls, emails, walk-in customers, and chat sessions, and records detailed progress and resolutions for all tickets accordingly.
- Perform system software upgrades and install service packs and patches as needed.
- Delve into and achieve an understanding of a problem or request to offer the most appropriate possible solution.
- Configure, modify, and repair computer hardware including monitors, keyboards, and printers.
- May perform various changes to user accounts via Active Directory.
- Assists in creating and maintaining internal articles and/or documentation.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
- May assist with onboarding of new users.
- Utilize software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and drive the resolution of problems and factors affecting network integrity.
What you will learn:Gain a solid understanding of the various tasks within an Information Technology (IT) Department. The focus of the position will be centered around IT Customer Support. As part of normal day-to-day activities, you will learn what the various IT roles encompass from Server, Networking, Applications, and Cyber Security.
QualificationsWhat will you bring: (Qualifications)Education:Students actively enrolled in bachelor's degree in computer science with an expected graduation date of December 2026-May 2028.
Experience/Specific Knowledge- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

What Else You Need to Know Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Lakewood, CO. office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
Compensation And Other Benefits- Pay Range $24.81-$29.43 USD Hourly
- The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include; paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.
