We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to join the Technology Integration team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, coordination, execution, financial tracking, and monitoring of technical integration activities for a major Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI 2.0) modernization program.

Working closely with project managers, technical leads, business stakeholders, and System Integrators, you will ensure project plans, financials, deliverables, change controls, and risks remain organized, transparent, and aligned with program milestones.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Schedule Coordination: Maintain project plans, schedules, action items, dependencies, and deliverable trackers across technology integration workstreams.
  • Financial & Resource Tracking: Prepare and maintain financial reports for program releases, tracking expenditures, forecasts, budget variances, and staffing/resource plans in coordination with project leadership.
  • System Integrator & Deliverable Management: Monitor System Integrator deliverables, review cycles, stakeholder approvals, and open action items to ensure timely delivery and clear visibility.
  • Technical & Solution Planning Support: Assist technical leads with documenting solution scope, environment readiness, interface data flows, testing schedules, and deployment plans.
  • Change Control & Requirements Management: Coordinate the program's Change Request (CR) process from submission through final disposition. Maintain traceability between requirements, design decisions, and scope changes.
  • Risk, Issue & Governance Tracking: Maintain risk logs, issue registers, dependencies, decision logs, and status dashboards. Follow up with action item owners and escalate items requiring leadership attention.
  • Meeting & Document Administration: Coordinate technical workshops, prepare meeting agendas, record decision logs, and manage organized program documentation for auditability and compliance.
Qualifications & Required Experience
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects or large enterprise technology integration programs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience). High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise application integration, data flows, and systems architecture.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience with project scheduling, resource planning, financial tracking, risk/issue mitigation, and status reporting.
  • Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior exposure to the Utility sector, smart grid technology, or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is a plus, but not required.
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface across technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and proactive follow-through on action items.
  • Adaptable, quick learner capable of integrating into a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement and transparent project governance.
