Are you interested in vehicle electrical systems, wiring architecture, and hands-on troubleshooting? Roush is seeking an Electrical Engineering student to support our Vehicle Engineering team for the fall of 2026 (Sept. - Dec.). This internship provides exposure to vehicle electrical system design, CAN communication, diagnostics, harness development, and validation testing.
This position is a paid internship located in Allen Park, MI with occasional work in Livonia, MI.
To be considered as an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will need:- Minimum junior standing at a college or university
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- Must be able to work a 40-hour work week M-F onsite
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong desire to learn vehicle electrical systems design, development, and testing as it relates to the automotive industry
- Willingness and desire to get hands-on experience
A successful Electrical Engineering Intern may also have:- Experience with CAN tools or vehicle diagnostics
- Exposure to schematic or harness software
- Prior internship experience in an automotive-related environment
- Participation in Formula SAE / Baja / EV / Robotics project teams
- Interest in automotive electrical systems and vehicle technology
