Raytheon is seeking a motivated 2nd shift Senior Electrical Engineer to fill key Maintenance, Repair and Engineering support role within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department, located in Andover MA. The role requires root-cause fault isolation and repair of complex test stations across RF, digital, and AC/DC power platforms. Candidate must be able to effectively operate in a high tempo operations environment and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing complex activities, often with actions requiring coordination across multiple support areas.

What You Will Do
\n
\n - \n
Perform system-level debugging on test fixtures and automated test stations using best practices.
\n - \n
Trace hardware faults down to the component level across RF, digital, and AC/DC platforms.
\n - \n
Ensure test station uptime on the manufacturing floor.
\n - \n
Maintain fault logs and generate repair documentation to minimize future troubleshoot efforts improving station uptime.
\n - \n
The candidate shall work with minimal supervision.
\n - \n
Coach and influence technicians regarding troubleshooting best practices and techniques.
\n - \n
Interpret schematic drawings in aiding with troubleshoot of test stations and equipment.
\n - \n
Design of moderate improvements of systems and test equipment to enhance performance of work area and improve production up time.
\n

Qualifications You Must Have
\n
\n - \n
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
\n - \n
3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshoot experience.
\n - \n
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer
\n
\n - \n
Platform Knowledge: Strong electrical background with experience in debugging of analog, digital, and mixed-signal test equipment and custom test assemblies.
\n - \n
RF/Microwave Skills: Knowledge of industry-standard RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators).
\n - \n
Power Systems: Knowledge of analog electronics, AC/DC power platforms, and control systems.
\n - \n
Experience developing, editing, and improving preventative maintenance, and calibration procedures, using intuitive techniques and methodologies
\n - \n
Experience with CORE principles, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
\n

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
