Currently, we are seeking a
Sr. Azure Cloud Architect (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph) to join our Team!
**TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION.**Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday. Availability to work on call
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Cloud Architect will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure. This job is to include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
- Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conducting risk assessments
- Identifying technical requirements
- Managing project timelines
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
- Providing post-migration support and addressing any issues that arise.
- Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
- Implement security and compliance policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing.
- Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Mandatory Skills:
- Cloud Architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Powershell
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
- Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects.
- Python
- Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Systems Management, IT/Computer Science, or other applicable IT field & 7 years' experience
- No degree & 12 years' experience
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification
- CompTIA Cloud+ CE certification
Clearance Requirements:

Compensation: $185,000 - $200,000Compensation ranges are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate's scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.Our compensation includes other indirect financial components designed to support employees' total well-being, which should be considered when evaluating our competitive benefits package.
