Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. This role contributes to end-to-end systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and Radio Frequency (RF) components, including Hardware, Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions. The Systems Engineer will support mission-critical communication and signal processing environments and collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems utilizing Hardware, GOTS, COTS, and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions.
- Contribute to systems engineering efforts across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure system performance, interoperability, and mission readiness.
- Assist with the development and integration of RF and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
- Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
- Participate in system integration, test execution, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
- Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including technical artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment and system integration activities.
Qualifications:- Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
