We are currently seeking a Data Architect Lead Advisor to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).
Solutions Architect - Snowflake Data Platform (Azure)Day to Day Job Duties:(What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms leveraging Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and complementary Azure services.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to define data platform strategies, modernization roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
- Partner with Sales, Account Teams, and Client Executives to support pre-sales activities including solution development, proposals, effort estimations, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale cloud migration and data modernization initiatives involving legacy data warehouses, ETL platforms, analytics environments, and reporting ecosystems.
- Define enterprise data architecture standards, governance frameworks, security models, data integration patterns, and operational best practices.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and executive presentations while serving as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams.
- Evaluate emerging cloud, analytics, and AI technologies and develop reference architectures and reusable accelerators for future client engagements.
- Engage with Microsoft, Snowflake, and strategic technology partners to develop joint solutions and support go-to-market activities.
- Provide technical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to architects, engineers, and project teams throughout solution delivery lifecycles.
Basic Qualifications:(What are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)
- 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, and cloud transformation solutions within a consulting firm, systems integrator, or large enterprise environment.
- 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing large-scale data warehouse, data lake, and modern data platform solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, performance optimization, security, and enterprise deployment patterns.
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering Azure-based data solutions utilizing services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- 2+ years of experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern data engineering frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives from legacy on-premises or cloud-based data platforms.
- 5+ years of experience supporting professional services sales cycles including solution development, statement of work creation, proposal development, RFP responses, and account expansion initiatives.
Travel:This position is primarily remote but occasional travel to client sites in the U.S. may be required.
Degree:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have:- Strong experience with enterprise data modeling, data governance, data quality, master data management, and metadata management practices.
- Experience designing data architectures supporting advanced analytics, self-service BI, AI/ML, and generative AI workloads.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, business users, and technical teams.
- Experience serving as Lead Architect or Technical Delivery Lead for large enterprise transformation programs.
- Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Advanced Architect or SnowPro Core.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Experience with enterprise data governance platforms such as Informatica.
- Experience designing and implementing Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or Cloud-Native Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI architectures leveraging Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks AI, or Snowflake Cortex.
- Experience managing global delivery teams and mentoring architects and senior engineers.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $147,622 to $273,375. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
