Job Summary
We are looking for a Jr. Oracle EPM Resource to support the administration, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Oracle EPM technologies and experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and related business processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Oracle EPM professional who wants to grow their skills while working closely with business users, functional teams, and senior EPM resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration and support of Oracle EPM applications.
- Support Oracle Planning and Budgeting activities, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Assist with application configuration, metadata maintenance, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, and security.
- Support data loads, integrations, reconciliations, and troubleshooting of EPM-related issues.
- Work with senior EPM team members to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and planning forms.
- Assist with data validation and quality checks across EPM applications.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide timely support to business and finance teams.
- Participate in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare technical documentation, process documentation, and support materials.
- Work with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into EPM solutions.
- Support production releases, enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Follow established change-management, security, and governance processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience working with Oracle EPM / Hyperion or related enterprise planning applications.
- Basic understanding of Oracle Planning / Planning & Budgeting concepts.
- Knowledge of EPM dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, forms, business rules, and security.
- Experience with Excel and financial data analysis.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, or management reporting processes.
- Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with data integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud / Oracle Fusion EPM.
- Exposure to Oracle Planning, Financial Consolidation, or Account Reconciliation.
- Experience with Essbase.
- Familiarity with Smart View.
- Exposure to Data Management / Data Integration within Oracle EPM.
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting or EPM automation.
- Experience with Oracle EPM reporting and dashboards.
- Understanding of financial systems and enterprise applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
