Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a Reporting Conversion Consultant to assist the migration of the company's PeopleSoft nVision reporting library to Oracle's financial reporting tools as part of the broader PeopleSoft-to-Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transition. This role requires hands-on experience building nVision reports within PeopleSoft General Ledger, and equally hands-on experience translating that reporting logic into Oracle's financial reporting environment — Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Narrative Reporting, and Smart View. The ideal candidate has done this exact conversion before: taking a mature nVision report library and rebuilding it, in Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory and assess the existing PeopleSoft nVision report library, documenting the business purpose, data sources, and layout logic of each report

Rebuild nVision reports as equivalent reports in Oracle's financial reporting tools (FCC-based reporting, Narrative Reporting, and/or Smart View), preserving required output and formatting

Map PeopleSoft chartfield structures and reporting trees to their corresponding Oracle EPM dimensions and hierarchies

Validate converted reports against legacy nVision output to confirm data integrity and reconciliation accuracy during parallel testing

Partner with accounting, treasury, and finance teams to confirm converted reports meet existing reporting requirements and identify any gaps or improvement opportunities

Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies between PeopleSoft-sourced data and Oracle-based report output

Participate in SIT/UAT testing cycles for converted reporting deliverables

Document conversion decisions, mapping logic, and configuration for each rebuilt report

Collaborate with the broader Financial Reporting Systems team on production support

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated, hands-on experience building and maintaining nVision reports within PeopleSoft Financials/General Ledger

Demonstrated experience converting or rebuilding PeopleSoft nVision reports as equivalent reports in Oracle's financial reporting tools (FCC, Narrative Reporting, or Smart View)

Strong understanding of the end-to-end financial reporting and close process

Working knowledge of financial data structures, chartfields, reporting trees, and consolidation concepts

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and finance stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to reconciliation accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle EPM/FCC (Financial Consolidation and Close) configuration and reporting

Experience with Oracle Narrative Reporting for management report packages

Experience with Oracle Smart View for ad hoc and recurring report development

Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation/close automation tools

Prior experience supporting a legacy-to-cloud ERP transition (e.g., PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud)
