Senior Java Developer located in the Austin, TX area with experience in AI-led application development in Java to work within a dynamic Agile Scrum Team to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance Java based web services that support business critical integration projects. The role will require a strong work ethic, leadership, problem solving skills and the ability to partner with business and technologists across the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading application teams to successfully building and supporting enterprise web applications. The role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability yet has a support structure necessary for development growth.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
- Build robust REST APIs using Spring Boot and modern development practices.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of test automation, TDD, and integration testing.
- Experience with Splunk, SQL/MongoDB, Kafka, or Angular preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience utilizing AI tools within the development process
