Job Summary We are seeking a Senior AI Developer with 8+ years of software development experience to support large-scale, high-availability systems and AI-focused development initiatives. The role combines Java and Spring-based software engineering with AI/ML implementation, GenAI-assisted development, cloud-native architectures, and modernization of legacy platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production and applying GenAI tools across the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-availability applications using Java, Spring, and Web Services. Apply GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code across implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation. Apply AI-assisted development practices, including prompt engineering, spec-driven development, and agentic workflows. Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions into production environments. Build and support containerized, microservices-based, cloud-native applications. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices. Design and develop solutions supporting high-volume financial transactions. Integrate Large Language Models into enterprise applications and development workflows. Participate in system modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to distributed Java-based architectures. Collaborate with developers, architects, product teams, and adjacent technology teams to deliver scalable solutions. Apply engineering judgment to validate AI-generated code and ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability. Support application troubleshooting, testing, automation, and production operations. Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices. Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers as needed. Required Qualifications 8+ years of software development experience. 8+ years of experience building large-scale, high-availability systems using Java, Spring, and Web Services. Hands-on experience using GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code across software development workflows. Strong understanding of AI-assisted development, spec-driven development, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows. 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and deploying AI/ML solutions into production. 6+ years of experience working with containers, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. 6+ years of experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD practices. 2+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. 2+ years of experience with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, and/or PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience with Large Language Models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies. Experience with cloud development and high-volume transaction processing environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kafka. Experience with RabbitMQ. Experience in financial services. Experience with broker-dealer systems and operations. Experience with test-driven development. Experience working in Agile environments. Experience with Jira. Experience with legacy modernization initiatives, including migration from mainframe COBOL/DB2 platforms to Java-based distributed systems using SQL or MongoDB. Education: Bachelors Degree
