Job Description:GDIT is looking for Application Developer to join our National Institutes of Health (NIH) CIT Hosting and Storage Services Program.We are seeking a forward-thinking innovator who brings deep curiosity for emerging technologies and a commitment to exploring how new digital capabilities can elevate human expertise rather than replace it. Our ideal candidate champions responsible experimentation, learns quickly from iteration, and approaches complex challenges with a critical, growth minded perspective that fuels continuous modernization and meaningful impact.Location: This is a HYBRID role - 3 days on customer site in Bethesda MD.This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications. Responsibilities:- Assist in the design and coding of software product components, units and modules according to contract specifications
- Participates in analysis and development of test plans
- Tests assigned components and units
- Provides test results and recommends corrections to senior developers
- Supports deployments, updates, and testing activities
- Troubleshoots application issues and resolves tickets
- Updates SOPs, release notes, and application artifacts
Required Qualifications:- BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years supporting application deployments
- Experience with configuration changes and testing
- Skilled in documenting releases and updates
- Required Skillsets and Experience
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience supporting NIH
- Experience supporting large federal IT programs
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
