Job DetailsPosition Summary
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a collaborative engineering environment. You will work closely with customers, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop scalable, secure, and highly available networking solutions.
The ideal candidate has approximately 10+ years of experience in network engineering, a strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies, and experience working with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking platforms.
Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, and manage enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls to support secure and scalable network operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability network architectures.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely root cause analysis and resolution.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance to maximize reliability and efficiency.
- Review technical requirements and translate them into scalable network designs and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, engineering teams, and external system owners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support systems integration activities and interface management across multiple technologies.
- Ensure network solutions align with security, performance, and operational requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide recommendations for continuous network improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Approximately 10+ years of professional network engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network environments.
- Experience configuring and supporting commercially available networking equipment such as:
o Cisco
o Juniper
o Other enterprise networking platforms
o Network architecture
o Routing and switching
o Firewalls
o Network security
o High availability
o Performance optimization
- Experience with systems integration and interface management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications.
- Experience designing highly available enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting complex, mission-critical network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with network security best practices and modern enterprise architectures.
