Howell Chase is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Bluffton, SC.

We are specifically looking for a seasoned service technician with 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience who can confidently diagnose, repair, and service residential HVAC systems. This is not an entry-level or maintenance-only position.

What You\'ll Do

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
Troubleshoot complex heating and cooling issues
Perform repairs correctly and efficiently
Conduct system inspections and identify necessary repairs or improvements
Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners
Provide excellent customer service throughout every service call
Accurately document work performed, recommendations, and equipment information
Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle
Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
Work closely with dispatch, management, and other technicians
Identify opportunities to improve customers\' comfort, efficiency, and system reliability

What We\'re Looking For

Required:

5+ years of HVAC service technician experience
Strong residential HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Experience diagnosing electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners can understand
Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record
Professional, dependable, and accountable
Willingness to continue learning and improving

Preferred:

EPA certification
NATE or other HVAC certifications
Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field-service software
Experience working in a residential service and sales environment
