Summary

This client is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Manager based in the Greater Boston area with a requirement of 4 days onsite. You will be joining a global investment management firm focused on delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions that support critical financial systems and enterprise applications. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for extension.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will drive QA strategy, build and optimize automation frameworks, and lead distributed/offshore QA teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical depth and leadership, with a passion for automation-first testing, CI/CD integration, and shift-left quality practices.

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
Strong hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks (selenium, Cypress, or similar)
Proficiency in Java for test automation development
Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin
Proven experience leading onshore/offshore QA teams across multiple time zones
Hands-on experience integrating QA into CI/Cd pipelines
Experience leveraging AI tools for test generation, automation, or defect analysis
Strong understanding of test data management, defect governance, and quality metrics
Experience with security performance, and scalability testing

Desired Skills & Experience

Strong leadership, mentoring, and team building experience
Background in investment management, trading systems, or financial services
Experience with API testing and database validation
Experience reducing flaky test and improve pipeline sreliability
