We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a research and development team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate passionate about developing innovative solutions. As part of this team, you will contribute to software development, data processing, and system integration for next-generation health wearables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for wearable devices, ensuring reliable data collection and processing.
- Implement algorithms for sensor data acquisition, signal processing, and real-time health monitoring.
- Work with APIs and cloud services to integrate wearable device data with healthcare platforms.
- Collaborate with clinical researchers to refine data analysis methods and improve patient monitoring accuracy.
- Assist in developing front-end and back-end components for patient-facing applications.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure robustness and accuracy in health data tracking.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience and/or a Bachelor's in a related field. Master's or PhD experience is a bonus.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with algorithm development.
- Familiarity with machine learning, signal processing, data engineering, data pipelines, or embedded systems for health applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative research environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and database management.
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in healthcare software development.
- Experience with AI engineering, prompt engineering, and agentic AI creation.
