Pay: $27.35 + ( $2.73 Shift Premium )
What You ll Do
\nYou will be responsible for the delivery and execution of core manufacturing technician tasks for vendors and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls principles, corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations. You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with company policies in a manufacturing facility.

\n \nResponsibilities
\n*Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs
\n \nResponsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in the production processes.
Work from verbal or written instructions through SOP s or work instructions.
Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Set up and operate a CNC production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Use computer-controlled equipment to select and operate laser cutting machines specialized for metal sheet stack forging.
Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
Inspect material and products to strict quality standards and communicate any discrepancies at any point in the production process.
Collaborate with engineers and support staff on R&D projects and process improvements.
This role requires 5 days onsite per week.
Qualifications
\nEffective verbal and listening communications skills.
Time management skills.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams.
Critical eye for identifying defects.
Commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and occasionally perform strenuous physical labor.
Ability to work within ITAR-controlled environments.
Preferred Qualifications
\n2+ years in manufacturing experience.
Power tool experience is preferred.
Experience working in ISO-controlled or other regulated manufacturing environments.
\n
Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.35 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
