About the Position:

Marvell's Central Engineering Foundational IP team is seeking a motivated SRAM Software Engineer Intern to join our Burlington, VT Custom SRAM team. Our Custom SRAMs are made possible by a dedicated team of expert software engineers that develop infrastructure, tooling, and deliverables for memory IP, as well as create custom memory optimization solutions for chip designs. What You Can Expect- Work closely with SRAM circuit designers to implement PPA (Power, Performance, Area) data to create design kits in leading-edge technologies.
- Create systems to optimize SRAM memory solutions for System on Chip (SoC) designers and streamline the memory selection process.
- Analyze, summarize, document, and present results to colleagues and local internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field(s) and graduating between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028
- Scripting (Perl, Python, Bash) in a command line environment.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Functional programming (Clojure desirable), and Java programming.
- Familiarity with SRAM architecture.
- Basic circuit-design skills (digital logic, transistor fundamentals, etc.)
- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)30 - 59, $ per hour.
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
