Role Summary
Seeking a Senior SRE Developer with 8–10 years of experience for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid setup, with face-to-face interview required).
The ideal candidate will combine strong AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps automation practices. Key responsibilities include driving platform reliability, managing serverless architectures (AWS ECS Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge), building IaC with Terraform, automating CI/CD pipelines via GitLab, and maintaining deep observability using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and LogRocket across Java/Node.js microservices.
Key Responsibilities
* SRE & DevOps Operations: Architect, automate, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure multi-environment platform reliability and incident response.
* AWS Serverless & Cloud Management: Manage enterprise AWS cloud resources including ECS Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge, Route53, S3, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, and Serverless architectures.
* Observability & Performance Monitoring: Implement end-to-end monitoring and tracing frameworks using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, LogRocket, and Power BI dashboards.
* Microservices & Scripting Support: Maintain and debug backend microservices built in Java and Node.js (REST/SOAP) while leveraging Linux and Shell Scripting for operational automation.
* FinOps & Incident Governance: Optimize cloud cost management (FinOps), minimize operational toil, and drive root cause analysis (RCA) during high-priority incident management cycles.
Required Skills
* Core Experience: 8–10 years of dedicated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and AWS DevOps experience.
* AWS & Infrastructure Stack: Advanced expertise in AWS ECS Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge, Route53, S3, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and Terraform.
* CI/CD & Scripting: Hands-on automation experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Linux administration, and Shell Scripting.
* Languages & Architecture: Strong technical knowledge of Java, Node.js, REST, SOAP, Microservices, and Serverless design.
* Observability & Analytics: Deep proficiency in Dynatrace, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, LogRocket, and Power BI.
* Operational Practices: Proven track record in FinOps cloud optimization and structured Incident Management.
* Work Arrangement & Interview: Commitment to a Hybrid setup in Charlotte, NC 28202 and willingness to attend a Face-to-Face interview.
