Overview:
You?re an experienced leader with an electrical license, a vision for growth, and a heart for people!
How would you like to be our Electrical Director?
Your Role
Do you love to bring people together to drive results? You?re exactly who we?re looking for to manage our growing electrical department!
As Electrical Director:
- You?ll manage our electrical service team and help scale us to new heights! This team is in homes every day solving problems for customers! You wanna make sure they?re getting the training and attention they need to do their best work. We?re growing our electrical team, and this is your chance to help build something amazing!
- You\'ve got years of electrical experience, but you\'re ready for something greater!You\'re the kind of person who not only dreams big, but you actually set out to achieve it. Growing people, a team, and revenue all come naturally to you. That means you know how to look at both the small details and the big picture!Sometimes, you like to take the time to mentor and train individuals on their technical skills and customer skills because you know they\'re capable of bigger and better things. Other times, you focus on strategizing how to grow the department and take it to the nextlevel. No matter what, you\'re the kind of person who is always thinking, "What can we do next?"
- You?ll manage schedules, performance, and work standards. We believe in doing things the right way, making it easy for our customers. You?ll be making sure our electrical team is holding to the Morris-Jenkins standards!
- You?ll work across departments to get things done. Whether you?re trying to get calls booked, get electricians dispatched out to the right homes, or just trying to get the customer taken care of, you?ll jump in to make sure things are getting done. In the end, the most important thing is that you make it easy for customers to get the electrical services they need!
- You?ll guide a team of technicians and supervisors, lead meetings, and develop a department culture. Our electrical department is still in its early stages, and this is a new position. You?ll be developing the culture of this team into something we can all be proud of!

All About YOU
- You?re looking for an opportunity to lead. You?re good at coaching and developing people professionally. You know how to give constructive feedback in a way that?s encouraging!
- You?re patient and great at explaining things. No matter if it?s a team meeting or a one-on-one chat with one of the electricians, you want nothing more than to help your team succeed! You love training and helping people, and you live for that lightbulb moment!
- You have experience scaling a department or business. You know what it takes to grow a team or business, and you love to take something from early beginnings to something great!

- You believe in efficiency. If processes could be made simpler with less wasted material, time, and money, you?re gonna strive for that! But you don?t believe in taking shortcuts?you know it?s better to do things the right way, not the easy way.
