RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a SAP Technical Architect.
Duties:
* Architect, design, and manage SAP landscapes (n+1, n+2 environments) to support global rollouts and parallel project execution
* Lead end-to-end technical architecture across SAP RISE Private Cloud, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance
* Drive integration architecture strategy across SAP and non-SAP platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data flows
* Document architecture, design decisions, and standards, ensuring traceability and alignment across technical and business stakeholders
* Develop and execute a comprehensive landscape maintenance and preventative maintenance strategy, including system health checks, monitoring, restarts, patching, and SAP upgrade planning and execution
* Define and govern release, transport, and environment management strategy, ensuring consistency across landscapes and minimizing deployment risk
* Establish and drive structured communication strategies for releases, incidents, and changes across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
* Own performance, capacity planning, and system optimization, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks across applications and integrations
* Define and implement monitoring and observability frameworks to enable proactive issue detection and system reliability
* Design and enforce security, compliance, and access governance architecture, including identity integrations and regulatory adherence (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
* Own disaster recovery and business continuity strategy, including RTO/RPO alignment, failover testing, and resilience planning
* Act as the primary technical liaison with SAP (RISE), managing SLAs, escalations, and service performance in collaboration with SAP and hyperscaler partners
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across geographies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience in SAP technical architecture, with deep specialization in SAP Basis
* Strong expertise in SAP CALM or non-SAP Change and Release Management and DevOps orchestration platforms
* Strong expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and integration architecture patterns
* Working knowledge of ABAP (debugging, enhancements, performance optimization)
* Proven experience managing complex, multi-country SAP implementations and global rollouts
* Demonstrated experience designing and managing n+1/n+2 SAP landscapes
* Hands-on experience with SAP RISE Private Cloud (mandatory)
Core Technical Competencies:
* SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
* SAP Multibank Connectivity (MBC)
* Vertex Cloud integration via SIC server
* OpenText integration with SAP
* SAP Commerce (Cloud Commerce) integration
* Non-SAP integrations (e.g., Salesforce and other enterprise platforms) leveraging APIs, SFTP, OData, ODBC, and modern integration patterns
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud and/or SAP Analytics Cloud
* Exposure to modern data architecture and event-driven integration patterns
* Familiarity with integration governance frameworks and API management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
