* Monitor database health and performance, and conduct query tuning, indexing, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance
* Manage database security, including user access, roles, permissions, and compliance with data governance standards

Data Architecture and Management:
* Design, implement, and maintain data architecture solutions-including data warehouses, databases, and data lakes-that support business objectives and data strategy
* Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience (5+ years) in SQL Server database administration and data engineering
* Hands-on experience administering SQL Server, including installation, backup and recovery, high availability, security, and performance tuning
* Strong understanding of SQL, Database Architecture, data analysis principles, data modeling, and ETL processes
* Proficiency in Azure services, ADF, Fabric, Azure SQL, SQL and data integration tools
* In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational database management systems
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights, both written and verbally
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to efficiently work with interdepartmental teams and other internal stakeholders
