This organization is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate the execution of two critical Access Management initiatives: an enterprise SMS-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) migration and a passwordless authentication pilot implementation at a manufacturing facility. The selected professional will drive execution, manage schedules and dependencies, coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, track risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of agreed milestones. This position requires strong capabilities in driving cybersecurity initiatives and working collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, plant operations, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of the enterprise SMS MFA migration initiative involving approximately 29,000 users transitioning to modern authentication methods.
- Maintain and execute the project plan, including migration waves, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with identity engineering, technical operations, service desk, communications teams, and business stakeholders.
- Track migration progress, user adoption, outstanding technical activities, operational readiness, and exception remediation.
- Manage the planning and execution of the passwordless authentication pilot at one designated manufacturing plant, coordinating with vendors, technical teams, and plant leadership.
- Develop a detailed pilot implementation plan covering readiness, enrollment, testing, deployment, and support.
- Own and maintain integrated project schedules, milestone tracking, risk/issue/dependency logs, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, stakeholder reviews, and provide concise weekly reporting on accomplishments and risks.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Five or more years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, with a strong focus on cybersecurity or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Technical Skills: Proven experience managing authentication, MFA, passwordless authentication, or identity modernization projects, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise IAM concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent project management tools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
