You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.
Responsibilities- Completes the quality checks and execution of day-to-day VDC project deliverables and processes
- Communicates with internal and external project teams; facilitates meetings to resolve project issues, review schedules, or other project documentation
- Assigns responsible party(s) for issue resolution; verifies and documents with meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs, and updated models
- Utilizes 3D design software to identify, communicate, and resolve project challenges
- Utilizes Reality Capture technology, such as laser scanning and drones, to support project deliverables
- Combines all building discipline models into coordination model
- Reviews the coordination model for constructability issues utilizing the software's clash detection capabilities
- Participates in Business Unit (BU) office and department activities including the orientation program, training sessions, and peer group meetings
- Supports 1-3 VDC deliverables under supervision
QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or related field
- 1-3 years of VDC Coordination experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong time-management and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with BIM design software (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, In-design)
- Basic understanding of construction documentation
- Knowledge of construction systems
- Receptive and inquisitive about design concepts and integrated building components and systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Knowledge of Baseline and Enterprise VDC standards
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
For Ohio this ranges from $73,000-$90,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
