Job Title: Helpdesk Support Specialist
Location: Crystal City, VA (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire with the Client
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
Responsibilities- Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support to end users via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network connectivity, email, wireless, and remote access issues.
- Create, update, track, and resolve support tickets through the ticket management system.
- Provision, manage, and troubleshoot network and email accounts.
- Escalate issues requiring onsite support and provide deskside assistance as needed.
- Maintain ownership of incidents through resolution while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with field engineers and technical teams to track escalated tickets and drive issue resolution.
- Support Windows-based environments, desktop hardware, peripherals, and associated software applications.
- Provide professional support to users at all levels, including senior leadership and high-ranking officials.
Required Qualifications- 2-3 years of experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or IT Support environment.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Experience with Active Directory (Users, Groups, Permissions, and OUs)
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar ticketing systems
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
