Job Overview: The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, document, and implement application systems that are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, problem-solving skills, and adherence to organizational methodologies and standards. The engineer will also respond to production issues and implement immediate resolutions across various technology areas.
Responsibilities: - Design, write, test, document, and implement application systems based on customer requirements.
- Apply software development and testing knowledge to solve a range of problems effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to elevate technology and apply best practices consistently.
- Work closely with customers and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
- Document system or application aspects for future upgrades and maintenance.
- Assess user needs and create software to meet those requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance processes.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications and standards.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
- Continue professional development through reading, workshops, conferences, and communities of practice.
- Perform other job duties as directed by leadership.
Qualifications: - Intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, and technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Ability to analyze and manage complex technical or business problems and provide viable solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills with various teams.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments while maintaining a high level of completion.
- Experience mentoring others and fostering team growth.
- Ability to develop and present ideas and strategies effectively to diverse audiences.
Education: - Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: - Intermediate-level experience with broad knowledge in software engineering.
Licensing/Certification: Physical Abilities: - Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate and interact in English to meet job demands.
- Proficiency in using a computer and office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy.

Pay Range: $65 - $70/Hr
