Director, Workplace Technology Operations - W2 only
This position is a permanent direct hire role with management responsibilities

Salary range $135-155K plus 20% bonus plus benefits + Management perks
OVERVIEW Director, Workplace Technology Operations Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Compensation: $148,000 to $158,000 base plus 20% bonus
Key Requirement: Must have experience managing a third-party MSP, ideally within a large enterprise environment.
POSITION SUMMARY Lead enterprise workplace technology and End User Services delivered through an external MSP. This role oversees service desk, endpoint management, desktop engineering, collaboration tools, field support, employee onboarding and offboarding, and workplace technology modernization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Own the workplace technology strategy, roadmap, service portfolio, and modernization priorities.
- Manage MSP performance, service delivery, SLAs, KPIs, escalations, demand, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, Intune, endpoint technologies, and collaboration platforms.
- Lead endpoint architecture, engineering, service management, asset management, and employee technology support.
- Partner with HR, Security, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Infrastructure, and business teams on technology delivery and controls.
- Manage incidents, problems, change requests, production issues, root cause analysis, and service documentation.
- Oversee EUS risk, SOX controls, audit requirements, security standards, data protection, and remediation activity.
- Manage EUS budgets, vendor contracts, service costs, and MSP performance against business expectations.
- Drive automation, orchestration, technology adoption, employee productivity, and service quality improvements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of End User Services, End User Computing, Digital Workplace, or related enterprise technology experience.
- 5+ years supporting large enterprise environments.
- Direct experience managing an MSP responsible for End User Services or workplace technology.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, MFA, Citrix, Intune, MDM, Ivanti, Absolute, remote support tools, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with ITIL incident, problem, request, and change management.
- Experience with SOX, audit, risk, compliance, security controls, and technical documentation.
- Strong vendor management, budgeting, stakeholder management, communication, and process improvement experience.
PREFERRED ITIL 4 Foundation. or Microsoft 365 Administrator certification.
