RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance full-stack applications with a primary focus on Java and Spring Boot
* Build, modify, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
* Develop user-facing features using Angular or React and connect them with backend APIs
* Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases
* Support microservices-based applications, including configuration, logging, and error handling
* Write unit tests and participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and application testing
* Use Git-based workflows for source control, branching, pull requests, and code collaboration
* Participate in Agile development activities and take ownership of assigned stories and technical tasks
* Follow established development, security, and compliance standards
* Support CI/CD and application deployment processes while continuing to expand cloud and container knowledge
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience
* Strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot
* Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
* Experience writing SQL queries using joins, filters, grouping, and sorting
* Experience with Git and modern IDEs such as IntelliJ, VS Code, or Eclipse
* Working knowledge of Angular or React, including components, services, and basic state management
* General knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
* Understanding of relational databases, indexes, and primary/foreign key relationships
* Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
* Familiarity with microservices concepts and application logging
* Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments
* Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Jest
* Exposure to Kafka, JMS, or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
